Bauer Services
Bauer service by JFS is designed to assure the performance of your high pressure breathing air compressor, increase compressor life, and help insure the safety of your breathing air users. JFS can assist you with NFPA 1989 required Air Analysis programs. Jefferson Fire and Safety has been in business since 1948 because we provide both sales and service support before, during and after you purchase from us. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.

Equipment Evaluation, Repair, Modifications and Upgrades
JFS employs full-time, factory certified technicians to maintain and repair your breathing equipment. We can also upgrade existing equipment to incorporate modern design changes for compliance with current NFPA requirements.
Hydrostatic Testing
All SCBA and pressurized cyclinders are required to have periodic hydrostatic testing as mandated by DOT 173.34. JFS provides hydrostat testing on all sizes of steel, aluminum, and composite cylinders, SCBA, scuba, fire extinguishers, and cascade cylinders.

Tight-fitting repiratory protection devices myst fit properly in order to provide proper protection. The fit testing process ensures that the user has the proper size, make or model of mask. This process is required for both positive and negative pressure devices, is mandatory every 2 years and recommended annually.
Organizations can choose to rent a fit-testing machine or having fit-testing done on-site by one of our specialists. We can test Scott and MSA equipment.

To insure proper operation and performance Holmatro recommends annual inspection, testing and preventative maintenance of all rescue equipment. This program is typically conducted at your station to reduce downtime. On a charge per unit, this annual comprehensive program offers a complete and thorough service to you HOLMATRO system insuring that it meets manufacturer's specifications for performance, pressures, and forces. By servicing and inspecting the system, the chances of a system or tool failure are greatly reduced giving the fire department peace of mind knowing that the users and the community being served are provided with properly maintained equipment to the best possible level. Our comprehensive preventative maintenance program includes inspection, functional testing, repair, loaners, service maintenance record keeping, operational training and preventative maintenance training.
